Quite the overreaction on your part given the rather benign comment to which you were responding.

What led you to think he would be in it? His name on the poster?

Cause right now it seems like it's just gonna be another family drama with a super white and male cast and creative team. And we've seen so many of those. And it's almost 3 and a half hours long."
I am less enamored with it than some, but I think part of what makes it special is that everything simply works and works well

While it might be OK, I think this play really benefits from being seen as close as you can so that you can appreciate the details in the staging and the nuances of expression among the actors as they engage with each other.

^ And yet you have asserted she cannot/will not ad nauseam here ... shall we say looping back to the same point over and over and over again. Perhaps you have become loopy with your own argument. Better to stop and compare reviews again later in the run.

By London standards, tickets are pricey. It will be interesting to see if they can sustain that during the run.

Network or Ferryman Oct 19

I highly doubt The Ferryman will be talked about for years and years to come ... even as good as it is.
Having seen both shows in London I would say they are not really comparable. The Ferryman is a strong ensemble production of a fairly decent script, one I found weaker than August Osage County to which it has been compared.
Network is an inventive staging featuring a significant star turn by Bryan Cranston of a classic movie whose thees are very timely. It is far less likel

Also since I brought up Talkin Broadway that forum is so annoying to use, clicking on every response grinds my gears."
You can change the display mode so you do not have to do that.

Despite Close starring, this show seems to have very little buzz or am I missing it. Perhaps strong reviews might change that.

Celebrities decline to answer questions all the time. She could do so if she wanted to avoid answering. Clearly, she likes playing the part of "tell it like it is" diva.
