Nu het grootse Donizetti-project 'Bastarda' (over het leven van Elizabeth I) is uitgesteld, ontstond vanuit het team een nieuw, maar verwant project, dat in de vorm van een streaming wordt aangeboden. Doorheen de ogen van één bevoorrechte toeschouwer - een jong meisje dat zó heeft uitgekeken naar deze uitvoeringen - krijgt de kijker thuis, in twee avonden, het beste uit Rossini's 'Elisabetta, regina d'Inghilterra' en Donizetti's 'La favorita'.
