Rotor - Entangled matter is headed to Bozar in October. The event runs 16 October - 5 January.

Love is Louder comes to Bozar this October. 80 artists look at love from the late ‘60s to today. The event runs 12 October 2024 - 5 January 2025 at Ravenstein Circuit.

Hans/Jean Arp & Sophie Taeuber-Arp brings Friends, Lovers, Partners to Bozar in September. The event runs 20 September 2024 - 19 January 2025.

Artistic couples and love take centre-stage this autumn at Bozar. The season kicks off with masterpieces by the iconic artist couple Hans/Jean Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp, two of the leading lights of the 20th-century avant-garde.

Elle était considérée comme l'une des artistes lyriques les plus talentueuses de sa génération.

A new play by Action Zoo Humain and NTGent explores empathy within a highly polarized conflict, aiming to foster understanding and dialogue through a compelling narrative.

The exhibition Histoire de ne pas rire. Surrealism in Belgium at Bozar has already attracted over 100,000 visitors. Because of this success, Bozar plans exceptional late-night openings for the last days, from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 June, from 6pm to 10pm.

Bozar's new music season is all about space and new voices. ‘A Room Full of New Voices’ may be taken quite literally. Under the motto, new creations and formats resound, bringing together space, eras and musical styles.

During the renovation of Studio and Salle M, Bozar collaborates with the temporary cultural hub Reset to present a sequence of 10 concerts of electronic music. These sensory spectacles unfold within the intimate ambiance of Reset's Auditorium, reminiscent of 70s Scandinavian style architecture. Each time, an international artist shares the bill with a local must see.

From 24 to 26 May 2024, the Brussels Jazz Weekend offers free concerts in a number of squares and indoor venues. Bozar is also on board and has invited on Saturday May 25th five groups to make Brussels' Grand-Place rumble: MaDaBa, Manu Hermia & Orchestra Nazionale della Luna, John Ghost, Next.Ape and Kolinga.

A one-hour concert, performed by young people, for young people! The European Union Youth Orchestra is a committed orchestra, designed to celebrate the diversity and talent of young musicians from the 27 countries of the European Union.

In the Occident, the muses bring artists inspiration. In the Arab world, djinns make your deepest wishes come true. Close to the inner wonder of the dream: this is where Belgian lutenist Sofie Vanden Eynde and Iraqi oud player Saad Mahmood Jawad meet. They blend their favourite compositions from Downland to Fairuz, improvising on baroque bass lines and oriental maqamat.

The Music Chapel will present its traditional Gala concert in the splendid Henry Le Bœuf Hall. This concert will be a magnificent opportunity to share, with all the partners and friends of the Music Chapel, a moment of musical pleasure around this institution full of ambition for future generations.

From the open air versions of plays by Milo Rau and Tiago Rodrigues, to dozens of touching collaborations between professional artists and the people of Ghent. The ALL GREEKS FESTIVAL, unique in the history of European stage arts, simultaneously breathes new life into ancient cultural heritage and holds up a mirror to the city, society and the arts.

Stéphane Galland is perhaps best known as the drummer with Aka Moon, but has also built an impressive international career as a sideman of Joe Zawinul Syndicate, Zap Mama, Ozark Henry, Novastar, Axelle Red and Ibrahim Maalouf, among others. For several years, he has also been steadily building a solo career, always collaborating with young talent.

For the '24-'25 season, Bozar continues their tradition of delighting music lovers with concerts of extraordinary quality. With the launch of subscriptions and 'First Arrivals,' the audience can discover a selection of exceptional artists starting today. Sales began at 10 am on Tuesday March 19th.

From March 14 to July 21, 2024, Bozar, in collaboration with CINEMATEK and the Fondation Chantal Akerman, will present an exhibition dedicated to the Belgian filmmaker, writer, and artist Chantal Akerman.

Bach³ - Les Muffatti comes to Bozar in April. The performance is set for 4 April 2024.

In 2024, Bozar will herald the year of Ensor, dedicated to commemorating the 75th anniversary of the passing of the renowned Belgian artist, James Ensor.

In the context of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the publication of the Surrealist Manifesto (1924), Bozar is celebrating 100 years of surrealism with a unique exhibition dedicated to the avant-garde movement in Belgium.

MAHLER ‘LIEDER EINES FAHRENDEN GESELLEN’ comes to La Monnaie this month. The performance is set for 18 February 2024.

The Oper! Awards - one of Germany's international opera awards - were presented last night at the Nationale Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam. La Monnaie managed to win the award for Best Future Project with its innovative sustainability policy. Again, a nice token of recognition for the many different ways we are trying to make every facet of our institution ever more sustainable. 

In the compelling performance Inzozi Zanjye, Dushime invites the audience to explore the inner sanctums of her mind. Sound and movement will blend seamlessly and resonate with the comforting whispers of ancestral echoes, celebrating the transcendent power of dreams. 

In the spring of 2024, Belgium takes over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This provides the ideal opportunity for Bozar to present an original Belgian programme, with three exhibitions focusing on emblematic figures in the history of Belgian art.
