Riot Fest announces the single-day lineups for 2023, featuring headliners Foo Fighters, The Cure, The Postal Service, Death Cab for Cutie, and Queens of the Stone Age. This stellar array of top-billed talent will be rounded out by Turnstile, The Mars Volta, Mr. Bungle, Tegan and Sara, 100 Gecs, The Gaslight Anthem, Death Grips, AFI and more.

'Machine' is the first new music from Miami, FL's Palomino Blond since their 7-song mini LP. Produced once again by the band and collaborator Jonathan Nuñez (guitarist of Torche) the song 'went through at least 5 different iterations with different tempos, keys, moods, and electronic drum sounds' said lead singer and guitarist Carli Acosta.

Havanna will be preparing to release the accompanying music video. Directed by Éli Sokhn, Produced by Laith Souqi, and Creative Direction by Anette Winter. The video takes the viewer back to the visually appealing movie, The Wizard of Oz, equipped with Dorothy (played by Havanna) and her friends on the yellow brick road.

Ariana DeBose is taking on the role of voodoo priestess Calypso in Sony Marvel's new film, Kraven the Hunter. The film shares the story of how one of Marvel's biggest villains came to be. The 10-track LP celebrates Matt’s homecoming as he further taps into the Afrobeats soundscape. ALKEBULAN features various African-based artists including Ugandan superstar Eddy Kenzo on a reimagined version of their GRAMMY nominated hit “Gimme Love,” as well as collaborations with Ugaboys, Motswana Mo Erongo, and The Unveiled.

The concept album includes KANGDANIEL’s recent single “Wasteland” which was co-written by KANGDANIEL and was released with an amazing cinematic video teaser reminiscent of popular Mad Max franchise. KANGDANIEL also released a music video for the second track on the album, “SOS”. 

The German-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer elaborates, “To me, personally, it was sort of a process of healing that I thought would be worth sharing. Listening to the whole album reminded me of holding a seed in my hands. It felt like the start of something and symbolized birth in times of chaos.

After a successful 2022 Propeller campaign that saw Lizzo’s fans take over 100,000 actions and raise nearly $125,000 on behalf of Black-led grassroots organizations and Planned Parenthood, Lizzo is asking her fans to support five non-profit organizations close to her heart: Black Girls Smile, Sphinx Music, Marsha P Johnson Institute, and more.

Netflix stars including Henry Cavill (The Witcher), Gal Gadot (Heart of Stone), Chris Hemsworth (Extraction 2), Arnold Schwarzenegger (FUBAR) and more hit the stage. The official trailer for HEART OF STONE debuted out of the TUDUM Global Fan Event in Brazil. Gal Gadot, Jamie Dornan and Alia Bhatt were introduced to the TUDUM stage to the sound of 'Quiet', a new original song made for the movie by artist Noga Erez. For the “Elemental” score, filmmakers called on a tried-and-true member of their musical family: Thomas Newman. Newman’s Pixar credits include 2003’s “Finding Nemo,” 2008’s “WALL•E” and 2016’s “Finding Dory”—the celebrated composer was nominated for an Oscar® for his work on both “Finding Nemo” and “WALL•E.”

As the drummer for Fela Kuti’s revolutionary Africa 70, Allen’s polyrhythmic drumming defined Afrobeat.
