Sculpture Center Presents 2017 Lucky Draw, 4/18
By: Molly Tracy Apr. 05, 2017
Lucky Draw is a one of a kind art raffle that guarantees that each and every ticket holder goes home with a work of art. 225 established and emerging artists have donated works of art this year. Proceeds from Lucky Draw support SculptureCenter's programs dedicated to emerging contemporary artists. Lucky Draw is co-chaired by Benoit Bosc, Jane Hait, and Allison Rubler.
This year, Lucky Draw will commence with a live auction, led by Sara Friedlander from Christie's, of artworks by Adam McEwen, Ugo Rondinone, and Amy Sillman. The Draw, emceed by Lowell Pettit, will include 222 different artworks, and the order of the selection will be determined by random drawing through a raffle-style ticket system. Participating artists include Richard Serra, Liz Glynn, Derrick Adams, Mark Dion and many more - all on view through our online preview.
Individual tickets are $750 and each allows admissions and a chance to choose an artwork for one person. Proxies are welcomed for those who cannot attend the event in person and would like to participate. Cocktails only tickets are also available for $75. All attendees are welcome to bid on the live auction works. Doors open at 5:00pm and the Draw begins at 7:30pm with the live auction.
