Pittsburgh CLO's TTHE FULL MONTY Opens July 6

Pittsburgh CLO's THE FULL MONTY will take it all off at the Benedum Center this summer July 6 - 15. With a book written by Terrence McNally (Ragtime) and the music/ lyric talents of David Yazbek (The Band's Visit, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Women On The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), this duo cooks up an aggressive crowd-pleaser that is both highly-entertaining and charmingly uplifting. Sarah Uriarte Berry (Vicki Nichols) is making her Pittsburgh CLO debut. Dan DeLuca (Ethan Girard), a proud Pittsburgh native, originated the role of Jack Kelly on the tour of Disney's Newsies. Dan serves as the Visual Director & Key Speaker for The Field Consulting specializing in Emotional Intelligence & Mindfulness.

Matt Dewberry (Dave Bukatinsky) has been seen in New York in You for Me for You (Wade) at MaYi Theatre. Regionally, he has been seen in: Fiddler on the Roof (Avram) at Arena Stage, You for Me for You (Wade) at Woolly Mammoth Theatre, Habit of Art (George), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson(Henry Clay) and Mojo (Sweets) all at Studio Theatre, Avenue Q (Princeton, Helen Hayes Nomination), Urinetown (Officer Lockstock, Helen Hayes Nomination) and Peter and the Starcatcher (Smee, Helen Hayes Nomination) all at Constellation Theatre, Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Cogsworth) and A Year with Frog and Toad (Snail) both at Imagination Stage and The Full Monty (Dave, Helen Hayes Nomination) at Keegan Theatre.

Randy Donaldson (Noah "Horse" T. Simmons) has performed in over 11 Broadway shows/National tours including; Banzai in The Lion King, Tommy Keeler in Annie Get Your Gun, Paul in Kiss Me, Kate and Speedy (u/s) in Wonderful Town. Recently Randy was seen as Bernard in the Michael Patrick King Amazon pilot, Love You More, starring Bridget Everett.

Natalie Charle Ellis (Georgie Bukatinsky) is making her Pittsburgh CLO debut having just concluded a three-year run as an original cast member of School of Rock on Broadway. Credits include: Les Misérables (Original cast member - 2014 revival), Forbidden Broadway, Alive and Kicking (OBC Off-Broadway), 9 to 5: The Musical (First National Tour), Lizzie the Musical (TUTS), Cinderella in Into the Woods, Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Irene Molloy in Hello, Dolly! (starring Beth Leavel) and Master of None (Netflix).

Anita Gillette (Jeanette Burmeister) is a long-time Pittsburgh CLO alum. She may best be known as Tina Fey's mom on 30 Rock, Miss Mona in Moonstruck, Miss Mitzi in Shall We Dance, as Jack Klugman's wife on Quincy or many game shows such as Pyramid and The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She has appeared in 14 Broadway shows and received a Tony Award® nomination for Chapter Two. Regional and Off-Broadway shows include: A Confederacy of Dunces, The Big Meal (Lortel nomination), Shirley Valentine, My Fair Lady, The Seagull, Skin of Our Teeth and The Great Waltz(recorded for Capitol). She recently began performing her one-woman shows at Birdland and 54 Below, for which she has won both a MAC and Bistro Award.

John Hickok (Harold Nichols) was the original Governor Slaton in Parade. His other Broadway credits include: Professor Bhaer in Little Women, Zoser in Elton John's Aida (he's on all three cast albums), was opposite Frank Langella in Roundabout's Man and Boy and in Our Country's Good. Regional credits include: Mame (Beauregard, opposite Michelle Lee), Me and My Girl (Gerald) at Pittsburgh CLO and Frank Galati's 1776 (John Adams) at ACT. He has directed on London's West End and taught at Queens and Bard Colleges and Western Connecticut State University.

Andy Kelso (Jerry Lukowski) has performed on Broadway in Kinky Boots (Charlie, Harry) and Mamma Mia! (Sky). National tour credits include Wicked (Fiyero). Regional credits include: Rent, Two Rooms, Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, The Drawer Boy and Fiddler on the Roof. Film/TV credits include: Good Girls Revolt (Amazon Video), Mr. Robot (USA Network), The Producersand Thank You...Next. Andy is originally from Denver and studied acting at the University of Northern Colorado.

Kevin Massey (Malcolm MacGregor) has been seen on Broadway/NYC: Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Memphis, Tarzan, Deaf West's Big River, NYCO's Antony & Cleopatra and Playwrights Horizons' Bella, An American Tall Tale. His European credits include Tarzan and Grease! Regional/Tour credits include: Gentleman's Guide (First National), Little House on the Prairie (First National, Paper Mill, Guthrie), Three Musketeers (Chicago Shakespeare), Bonnie & Clyde (Asolo Rep) and Pippin (Utah Shakespeare & KC Rep). He is a UNC Morehead-Cain Scholar.

Chris Peluso (Teddy Slaughter) has starred in productions all over the world and now returns to Pittsburgh CLO where he last appeared as Peter Cratchit in A Musical Christmas Carol fresh off his 2001 Gene Kelly Award win for Best Actor. Cortney Wolfson (Pam Lukowski) has been seen on Broadway in Kinky Boots (Nicola), The Addams Family and Les Misérables. Tour credits include The Addams Family (Wednesday) and Legally Blonde The Musical (Serena, Brooke Wyndham). Other credits include: the World Premiere of Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (Romy) at 5th Avenue Theatre, A Taste of Things to Come (Broadway in Chicago), Kinky Boots (NYC Readings), Pool Boy (Barrington Stage) and The MUNY. Her Film/TV credits include Are You Joking? and The Battery's Down.

THE FULL MONTY is completed with a talented ensemble including Katie Anderson, Becky Barta, Jerome Doerger, Joseph Domencic, Alex Dorf, Luke Halferty, Cameron Anika Hill, Nate Huntley, Jessica Ice, Quinn Patrick Shannon, Allan Snyder, Davis Wayne and Jack Engel.

Barry Ivan (Director/Choreographer) has multiple National and International directing credits that range from Yale to the German State Opera. His highlighted Pittsburgh CLO credits include: Sunset Boulevard, Company, Miss Saigon, West Side Story, A Little Night Music, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Aida, Les Miserables. Mr. Ivan's regional premiere production of Hairspray won the IRNE Award for Best Musical, as did his production of The Full Monty; and he is IRNE nominated as Best Director for his productions of Nine and Les Miserables. As Producer, his production of Showboat received the Elliot Norton Award for Best Musical. New Development works include: the US Premiere of Dracula: A Chamber Musical; Maury Yeston's In The Beginning; #Love Is Love featuring the music of Bobby Cronin; and through the support of the Dramatists Guild Foundation, numerous new plays and upcoming TV pilots.

James Cunningham (Music Director) is returning for his second season as music director for Pittsburgh CLO. His New York credits include: Avenue Q (conductor), Bunnicula (music director, TheaterworksUSA and original cast recording) and Happy Birthday (TACT). National Tour credits include: Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Spamalot, Evita and Cats. Regionally, he has conducted productions for Arena Stage, Casa Mañana, North Carolina Theatre, Sharon Playhouse, Shakespeare Theatre Company, The Engeman Theater, Paper Mill Playhouse, The MUNY and Cape Fear Regional Theatre. He holds degrees from Manhattan School of Music and New York University.

In 2000, an Americanized musical stage version of THE FULL MONTY was adapted from the popularly acclaimed 1997 British film. The musical held its world premiere at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego from June 1 through July 9, 2000. The production opened on Broadway at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre on October 26, 2000 and was nominated for 10 Tony Awards®. The original cast was led by Pittsburgh CLO alum Patrick Wilson as Jerry Lukowski.

THE FULL MONTY premiered in the West End at the Prince of Wales Theatre in March 2002. The cast included original Broadway cast members Jason Danieley, Andre De Shields, John Ellison Conlee, Romain Frugé and Marcus Neville, with Dora Bryan featured as Jeanette Burmeister and Jarrod Emick as Jerry. The production won the London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Musical. A production directed by Thom Southerland ran at the Broadway Studio in Catford, south east London, in November 2009 and then transferred to the West End at the New Players Theatre in December 2009.

Terrence McNally (Book) was awarded the Dramatists Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. He is the winner of Tony Awards® for his plays Love! Valour! Compassion! and Master Class and his books for the musicals Ragtime and Kiss of the Spider Woman. In 2010 The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presented Terrence McNally's Nights at the Opera, a three-play festival of his work. His other plays include: Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Lips Together, Teeth Apart, A Perfect Ganesh, Corpus Christi, The Ritz, It's Only A Play, The Lisbon Traviata, Some Men, The Stendhal Syndrome, Where Has Tommy Flowers Gone?, Bad Habits, Deuce, Dedication or The Stuff of Dreams, Unusual Acts of Devotion, Next, Sweet Eros, Witness and his first play, And Things That Go Bump in the Night, which was produced on Broadway in 1964. He has written the librettos for the musicals The Full Monty, A Man of No Importance, The Rink and The Visit and the opera Dead Man Walking. He won an Emmy Award for Best Drama with his teleplay Andre's Mother. He wrote the screenplays for Frankie and Johnny, Love! Valour! Compassion! and The Ritz. Among his many awards are a Citation from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best New Play, four Drama Desk Awards, three Hull-Warriner Best Play Awards from the Dramatists Guild, two Obies, two Lortel Awards and two Guggenheim Fellowships.

David Yazbek (Music and Lyrics) has a varied career as a recording artist, Emmy-winning TV and film writer, music producer and pianist which has somehow led Yazbek to a career on Broadway. He recently won the Tony Award® for Best Original Score Written for the Theatre for The Band's Visit. His previous three shows, The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown were all Tony-nominated for Best Score. The Full Monty won him the Drama Desk Award for Best Music. As a recording artist, Yazbek is responsible for five albums: The Laughing Man (winner NAIRD award, Best Pop Album of the Year), Tock, Damascus, Tape Recorder and Evil Monkey Man. He also produced the original cast albums of his three Broadway shows, The Full Monty, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, the first two of which were nominated for Grammy Awards. Recently David has scored the final season of HBO's Boardwalk Empire, scored and performed the music for Larry David's giant Broadway hit Fish In The Dark and built an IKEA storage shelf.

Jack O'Brien (Director) is an American director, producer, writer and lyricist. He served as the Artistic Director of the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego, California from 1981 through the end of 2007. O'Brien has been nominated for seven and won three Tony Awards® and won five Drama Desk Awards. He has directed and produced musicals, including The Full Monty and Hairspray, contemporary dramas such as The Piano Lesson, The Invention of Love and The Coast of Utopia, Shakespeare classics including Hamlet and Henry IV (a combination of Part 1 and Part 2), and operas, including Il trittico at the Metropolitan Opera.

Jerry Mitchell (Choreographer) received the Tony Award® in recognition of his choreography for the 2013 Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Kinky Boots, for which he was also nominated as director. He was recently nominated for an Olivier Award for his choreography in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which he also directed and co-produced in the West End. In the 35 preceding years, Jerry has been involved with more than 50 Broadway, Off-Broadway, West End and touring productions, starting as a dancer for Agnes De Mille in Brigadoon and thereafter assisting Michael Bennett and Jerome Robbins. His Broadway debut as choreographer, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, was followed by The Full Monty (Tony nomination), The Rocky Horror Show, Hairspray (Tony nomination), Gypsy, Never Gonna Dance (Tony nomination), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (Tony nomination), La Cage aux Folles (Tony Award), Imaginary Friends, Legally Blonde (Tony nomination), which he also directed; Catch Me If You Can and Kinky Boots (also running in London, Korea, Germany, Australia and on National Tour). He also choreographed both the Off-Broadway productions and films of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Jeffrey. Most recently, Jerry received the Drama League's Founders Award for Excellence in Directing and the George Abbott Lifetime Achievement Award from his peers, the latter being especially meaningful to him in that he was directed by the 96-year-old Mr. Abbott in the Broadway revival of On Your Toes. His most recent Broadway experience is as Director of On Your Feet! Twenty-five years ago, Jerry conceived and created Broadway Bares, a comedy burlesque show performed annually for the charity Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. He continues to serve as executive producer of Broadway Bares, with a book, website and satellite productions in Fire Island Pines, Las Vegas (Peepshow, which recently concluded its five-year run of continuous performances) and London (West End Bares). Next up is the musical based on the iconic film, Pretty Woman, which Jerry has directed and choreographed and opens this summer on Broadway.
