GHOSTBUSTERS IN CONCERT To Haunt The Smith Center With Live Orchestra
The Smith Center for the Performing Arts will host the symphonic screening of the classic 1984 film.
GHOSTBUSTERS IN CONCERT will be presented at the The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on September 26, 2026, pairing a live orchestra with the original 1984 film.
The event will feature a screening of Ghostbusters on a large HD screen while the score and soundtrack are performed live. The film was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and directed by Ivan Reitman.
The production is presented by Schirmer Theatrical, part of Wise Music Group, in collaboration with Black Ink Presents.
Peter M. Bernstein, son of Academy Award-winning composer Elmer Bernstein, has worked with the creative team to reconstruct the original score for live performance.
The concert is part of a touring series designed to bring film and live music together, offering audiences a new way to experience the classic comedy. VIP packages will also be available, including pre-show experiences and exclusive merchandise.
