Today we rewind to 2014 for the second Broadway revival of Les Miserables. Les Miserables opened on March 23 at the Imperial Theatre, where it ran for 1024 performances. Based on the Victor Hugo novel, the musical features a book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, music by Claude-Michel Schönberg and lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer. The revival was directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell and starred Ramin Karimloo, Caissie Levy, Nikki M. James, Samantha Hill, Andy Mientus, Will Swenson, Keala Settle, Cliff Saunders and Kyle Scatliffe.

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, LES MIZ is an unforgettable story of heartbreak, passion, and the resilience of the human spirit, that has become one of the most celebrated musicals in theatrical history.
