'America's Psychologist' Dr. Jeff Joins HB Studio Board Of Directors

HB Studio, one of New York's original acting studios, announced today the appointment of Dr. Jeffrey Gardere, better known as "America's Psychologist," to the organization's Board of Directors.

Dr. Gardere is among the most highly sought-after media experts in the field of mental health. He is Assistant Professor and Course Director of Behavioral Medicine at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, a practicing mental health professional, an author, and a frequent contributor to programs such as the FOX network, the "Today Show," "Nancy Grace," MSNBC, and CNN.

Marie-Louise Stegall, President of HB Studio's Board of Directors, is delighted to have Gardere join the organization, which celebrates its 75th anniversary next year.

"We are excited and grateful to have the expertise of Dr. Jeff Gardere," says Stegall. "His aptitude for fostering development and supportive communication will be helpful to HB as we continue to grow."

Gardere, who in his professional work fosters self-fulfillment among his patients, expressed interest in assisting HB Studio with the development of young theater artists.

"Joining the Board of the legendary HB Studio is certainly an honor and a privilege, but it is also an incredible opportunity for me to help HB Studio continue to connect and professionally train youth, especially minority youth, to find and give expression to their inner beauty, dreams, passion, and truth," said Gardere.
