THE ARTISTS SHOWCASE SERIES presented MUSIC AND LYRICS BY, an evening of new and emerging composers and lyricists, on Sunday, January 30, at Makor. The Artists Showcase Series' portion of proceeds from the event were be donated to DIRECT RELIEF INTERNATIONAL'S TSUNAMI RELIEF EFFORT.

Hosted by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Julie Gold (Bette Midler's "From a Distance") and featuring performances by Broadway talent, the event showcased new music from up & coming composers including Brian Lowdermilk, Eli Bolin, Sam Forman, Leslia Becker, Scott Alan, and Matthew Stamm.
