A group of privileged and hormonal teens from an exclusive prep school on summer vacay--that’s a recipe for all kinds of scheming and trouble, in the cult-fave Cruel Intentions: the ‘90s Musical, which begins a 3-week run at Stage West on Thursday, May 4. The production will continue at Uptown Players starting June 1.

This week, Jayke is joined by Broadway's Carrie St. Louis to talk about her incredible theatrical career, including her time as Glinda in Wicked. Carrie shares her experience playing Sherrie in Rock of Ages, and how much she loved playing Lauren in Kinky Boots. We also talk about how much fun she is having starring as Rose in the off-broadway production of Titanique, currently running at the Daryl Roth Theater.

The cast of Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical will kick it all off with a brief musical performance, and you can even buy tickets to the show at the party!

New cast members have been announced for the acclaimed cast of Cruel Intentions: the '90s Musical as it extends its Australian tour.

A group of theatrical singer-songwriters are partnering with FRIGID New York to present the second installment of Don't Call Us Emerging: A Songwriters Concert (Monday, December 12th, 8pm at The Kraine Theatre); an evening of original material performed by the writers themselves.

It’s a rock musical featuring all of the naughty behavior of the original film and marries it to the “hits of the day” that were hot when it came out. Innuendos about “booty sex” merge with Backstreet Boys hits in a jukebox musical that revels in the absurdity of the original concept.

One of Houston's newest theatre companies, The Garden Theatre, has announced its plans to bring the stage version of a cult classic to life in Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical at MATCH. Featuring the familiar story accompanied by '90s hits, the production will run November 18-27, 2022 at Midtown Arts and Theater Center Houston (3400 Main St.) in the heart of midtown. This will be the first production of Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical ever produced in Houston.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present a special evening with Shelley Regner and Elmo Zapp on Thursday, November 10 at 7:00 PM. Regner, best known for the Pitch Perfect franchise, and Zapp, lauded for his work on Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical, are teaming up for their debut duet performance.

The Hip Hop Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky’s 130-year-old ballet reimagined as a holiday dance spectacle, will travel to the Providence Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:30P this holiday season while celebrating the show’s 10th season.

Following standing ovations across the country and incredible demand Cruel Intentions: the '90s Musical will extend its Australian tour, making its Gold Coast premiere, a new season in Sydney's Parramatta and an encore season in Melbourne, kicking off in January 2023.

The Hip Hop Nutcracker, Tchaikovsky's 130-year-old ballet reimagined as a holiday dance spectacle, will travel to 30 cities this fall while celebrating the show's 10th season. Inspired by the live stage show, the Original Special 'The Hip Hop Nutcracker' from Disney Branded Television will stream this holiday season, only on Disney+.

Among this season's highlights, Adelaide Festival Centre presents the 15th annual OzAsia Festival from 20 October to 6 November under Artistic Director Annette Shun Wah. Australia's leading contemporary arts festival engaging with Asia, this year's program features a bold and exciting lineup of award-winning artists performing dance, theatre, music and more.
