MOTHERS AND SONS Partners with Tyler Clementi Foundation for Talk Out Tonight

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally, now playing at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), welcomes co-founder of The Tyler Clementi Foundation, Jane Clementi, who will be joined by Tony Award winning producer Paul Boskind (The Normal Heart) for a special post-show "Talk Out" discussion following tonight's, Wednesday, May 14th, evening performance. Jane Clementi is the mother of Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers University student whose suicide opened up an international dialogue about the bullying of LGBT youth. Since Tyler's death, the Clementi family has worked tirelessly to promote new stories of inclusion, dignity and acceptance for vulnerable youth and their families as way to honor the memory of their son, brother and friend. The discussion will begin shortly after Wednesday evening's 7pm performance, and all audience members are welcome to participate. The Terrence McNally New Play Award is a cash prize given annually to recognize a new play that celebrates the transformative power of art. WICKED Announces Lottery Policy for Morrison Center Run, 4/16-5/4

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Morrison Center with performances from April 16 - May 4. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Morrison Center Box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets. (more...)

The new Broadway play Mothers and Sons from 4-time Tony Award winner Terrence McNally and starring Tony Award and six-time Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly is proud to announce that portions of The AIDS Memorial Quilt are now on display in the lower lobby of the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), where the critically-acclaimed play currently resides. The Quilt, fittingly, is prominently referenced during the course of the 90-minute play, making its residency inside the theater especially poignant. CASA VALENTINA, the new play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, begins performances tonight, April 1 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J.
