What can audiences expect from My Last Will and Tasty Mint?

The very best of John Shuttleworth, his songs and stories.

What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?

It's rather gentle comedy, yet instantly accessible (if you 'get' the character), and there's no swearing or rude bits whatsoever, so it's suitable for all ages.

Is it daunting performing at the Fringe again after five years away from it?

Not really. I'm very excited by the prospect. I first performed at the Fringe 25 years ago and nearly won the Perrier Award, so Edinburgh holds special memories for me.

Who would you recommend comes to see you at the festival?

John Shuttleworth fans (new, old, and yet to be), who want to grab one of the very last chances - for the foreseeable future - to see this iconic character perform live.

What's next for you after Edinburgh?

Painting the outside of my house, including renovating some old windows. I've started, but it keeps raining or the wind gets up, so progress is slow. But I'd like to finish doing that, and then record an album of my own songs, mainly performed on acoustic guitar. I also have an unfinished comedy feature film I need to dust down and finish.

Timings and ticket information for My Last Will and Tasty Mint are available on the edfringe website.
