The Grandees, a comedy trio from London, are performing three short plays in the space of an hour promising to take the audience on an adventure of bizarre and wonderful character comedy.

The show starts off promising. Bizarre is absolutely the word for the first play. A teenage runaway finds work on a farm where his one instruction is not to go into the sewer. Naturally, he goes into the sewer, where he finds a lizard that takes control over human bodies. Completely surreal and very very silly, this section of the show is definitely something different and quite entertaining.

Unfortunately, they lost me somewhere around the beginning of the second play and then failed to win me back with the third. It seems a little too random in places and silly turned into ridiculous by the end. It was maybe just not to my taste though as the rest of the audience seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Wrong Side Of The Door is on at the Underbelly. Ticket information and timings are available here.
