Hello, gorgeous! The company of Funny Girl recently welcomed two new greatest stars- Lea Michele as “Fanny Brice” and Tovah Feldshuh as “Mrs. Rosie Brice”. Check out a first look at the new cast in action with these new photos!

Funny Girl star Tovah Feldshuh will recur as Bat Lady in Prime Video's new series, Shelter. The character is described as a reclusive, ghostlike figure who gives Mickey (Jaden Michael) a mysterious and disturbing piece of news. The cast also include Jaden Michael, Constance Zimmer, Adrian Greensmith, Abby Corrigan, Sage Linder, and Brian Altemus.

The Broadway production of Funny Girl will offer standing room tickets beginning September 27, 2022.

Some very special people have taken up residence at the August Wilson Theatre! Earlier this week, Emmy-nominated Glee star Lea Michele began her run as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway. The Green Room 42 will present a special concert reading of the new musical, Fountain of You, on Monday, September 26 at 7:00 PM. Fountain of You features book and lyrics by Tasha Gordon-Solmon and music by Faye Chiao, and stars Jenni Barber, Jason Veasey and Maya Days.

Hello, gorgeous! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Lea Michele doesn't begin performances in Funny Girl on Broadway until tonight, September 6, but we already have a first look at the new Fanny Brice in costume. Check out pre-production images of Michele as Fanny Brice.

Funny Girl gets new funny ladies tonight! Lea Michele will star as 'Fanny Brice' and Tovah Feldshuh will star as 'Mrs. Brice,' alongside Tony & Olivier Award nominee Ramin Karimloo as 'Nick Arnstein'. The production will invite critics back to the show, but not for a few weeks, after the pair has had a “brief time to perform together.” 

Linda Kahn is returning to The Laurie Beechman Theatre with her critically acclaimed solo cabaret debut show, “Say Yes!” on Sunday, September 18 at 4 pm and Saturday, October 22 at 7 pm. The show was previously performed at The Triad Theater last November and The Laurie Beechman Theatre in February and May. 

Linda Kahn will return to the Laurie Beechman Theatre in her Jeff Harnar-helmed solo show debut SAY YES! for two dates in September and October.

Julie Benko appeared on CBS Mornings to discuss her 'big break' in Funny Girl on Broadway Barbra Streisand's 'shadow,' and recent backstage rumors regarding the show's casting. The video also features performance footage of Benko performing 'I'm the Greatest Star' and rehearsal footage of a new version of 'People' that has been added into the show.

It's back! -- three extraordinary nights of “live” songs, entertainers, and musicians – all in celebration of the 33rd annual New York Cabaret Convention, produced by The Mabel Mercer Foundation.

THERESE LEE will return to New York on September 17 for an encore performance of her new show, RIDING THE BUS TO THE RED CARPET.  In it, she recalls her days in Los Angeles as an entertainment reporter too broke to own a car, and shares what her interactions with some of Hollywood's biggest stars during that time did to change her life forever. 

Top stories include the extension of the Hadestown tour, with new principal casting announced! The tour will now play through spring 2024. The world premiere is set for Tammy Faye, a new musical from Elton John and Jake Shears, starring Andrew Rannells and Katie Brayben.
