Broadway favorites Jeremy Jordan and Casey Likes are hitting the big screen in the new film Spinning Gold. Watch an exclusive video clip from the film now, featuring Jordan as Neil Bogart, the found of Casablanca Records, and Likes as KISS bassist and singer Gene Simmons.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced jazz programming running March 20 through April 2.

“Dream Hotel,” the new song from Grammy-nominated songwriter, singer, actress and businesswoman Tayla Parx, via her own TaylaMade Records. Co-produced by Parx, Oliver Frid and Heavy Mello with lyrical contributions from Lara Andersson, “Dream Hotel” is the third track revealed from her upcoming project, Many Moons, Many Suns.

Repeat engagements include David Ostwald's Louis Armstrong Eternity Band, Frank Vignola's Guitar Night, Birdland Big Band and Arturo O'Farrill & The Latin Jazz Orchestra.

Curtis ‘Boonah’ Brinkley and Director of A&R at Def Jam Shana Sherman have announced their joint venture with Def Jam Recordings. The partnership will help develop the careers of their growing roster via the label arm of their Philadelphia-based full-service entertainment company and creative incubation hub, Stack Or Starve.

The recording is taken from the documentary film and soundtrack Take Me to the River: New Orleans, which celebrates the rich musical history, the heritage, legacy, and influence of New Orleans and Louisiana music through live sessions with local artists. “Stompin’ Ground” was produced by the film’s director Martin Shore and Eric Krasno.
