The Ephrata Performing Arts Center is concluding its exciting 2021 season with a pilar of musical theatre, Les Misērables: School Edition. The production opens on Friday, December 3rd, and runs through December 30th.

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, six new recordings have earned nominations for Best Musical Theatre Album at the 2022 Grammy Awards, including Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella, Girl From the North Country, the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, Stephen Schwartz's Snapshots, and Les Miserables: The Staged Concert (The Sensational 2020 Live Recording).

The nominations for the 2022 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album are out! The awards honored six musicals, including Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella, Girl From the North Country, the Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, Stephen Schwartz's Snapshots, and Les Miserables: The Staged Concert (The Sensational 2020 Live Recording).

London's Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts today announced that its main theatre is to be known as The Mack, in honour of Sir Cameron Mackintosh's long-standing support for Mountview which included a generous gift of £1 million to complete the building of the theatre that will now bear his name.

Cameron Mackintosh has announced full touring dates for the UK and Ireland tour of his production of the Boublil and Schönberg’s “LES MISÉRABLES”. The musical will open at Glasgow Theatre Royal on 24 November 2021 where it has been extended by 2 weeks to run until 1 January 2022, before playing Liverpool Empire (5 – 22 January 2022). Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has just announced updates to All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre, in which schools and theatres around the world are empowered to locally produce and perform an exclusive musical revue featuring songs from MTI’s beloved shows over the weekend of November 12, 2021.

The only production of LES MISERABLES currently playing anywhere in the world is the one on Hale Centre Theatre’s Centre Stage--an all-out spectacle with burnished visuals and vocals. Scene after scene amazes the audience with its artistry, lush lighting reminiscent of stained glass, and immense scale. This is quite possibly one of the most spectacular productions of LES MISERABLES ever staged.

On this day in 2017, Cameron Macintosh's acclaimed revival of the musical Miss Saigon landed on Broadway starring Tony-nominee Eva Noblezada. 

Performances are set to return for Les Misérables -The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre, beginning 20 May 2021. The production is currently booking to 5 September 2021. 

Written by Claude-Michel Schonberg, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Miserables is set in early 19th-century France. The plot follows the stories of many characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution.
