Hundreds of submissions from talented individuals from all over the world entered the BroadwayWorld.com's "Give Us Your Voice" Contest, which were then voted upon by thousands of fans of The Little Mermaid. The performances from the very young to the young-at-heart were all incredible, making the contest not only challenging and exciting, but also generating enormous anticipation as to just whom the winner would be. The polls have closed and the votes tabulated.

Are you ready to see who has won the Grand Prize?

Each and every vote was audited by a third party during an intense 24 hour period, ensuring the most accurate results possible for this contest, and it's once-in-a-lifetime prizes.

And, the official Grand Prize Winner is....

Jennifer C. from Irvine, CA

Congratulations, Jennifer!

Jennifer C. (along with a guest) will enjoy world-class accommodations courtesy of our generous contest sponsor - The New York Marriott Marquis - for three nights, December 15th, 16th and 17th. Complimentary round-trip airfare to New York City will also be provided. Jennifer and her guest will see the show from the "best seats in the house" and attend the cast recording session - a truly magical and once-in-a-lifetime experience!

But wait... there's more!

The results were so close between the top two contestants after auditing, that both Disney and BroadwayWorld.com have graciously donated a second set of tickets to the show and the chance to stop by the recording session to Katie S., from New York City!  Congratulations, Katie!

And don't forget....

10 runner-up winners will receive Disney's The Little Mermaid Original Cast Signed posters and Original Broadway Cast Albums (release date February 2008).

Neil Diamond recently refunded money to fans that saw him in concert on a night he was too sick to sing well. Would you feel entitled to a refund if you saw a Broadway star perform on a night he/she was obviously sick or vocally tired? 6 comments
Yes, I’d rather see an understudy or be offered a refund or exchange than to see a star too ill to perform well.
No, that’s what happens in live theatre. Just bear with it and admire the star’s work ethic.
