Landmark on Main Street is pleased to announce several exciting updates to its 2008-09 season schedule, including a solo concert with the legendary folk artist Peter Yarrow on March 7, a two-week limited engagement of Avi Hoffman's "Too Jewish" March 11 - 27, and a new concert featuring singer-songwriter Jill Sobule on May 16, 2009.

On Saturday, March 7, Landmark will present An Evening with Peter Yarrow at 8:00 p.m. The legendary Peter Yarrow will take center stage to perform the much-loved classics made famous by Peter, Paul and Mary and to showcase his more recent work. Bethany & Rufus will not be able to perform with him because of an urgent trip out of the country in March. Landmark on Main Street thanks Elise & Marvin Tepper and WFUV Radio for their generous sponsorship of this great event and welcomes back WFUV's John Platt to host the show.

For the first time its thirteen-year history, Landmark will host a limited engagement: Avi Hoffman's "Too Jewish?" will run for 18 performances, March 11 - 27. Mr. Hoffman is an actor-writer-comedian who passionately celebrates Jewish culture, identity and tradition as he rediscovers the treasures of its music and comedy.

Landmark on Main Street proudly presents a new concert with Jill Sobule on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. Jill Sobule is a songwriter/guitarist/singer who became nationally known with her top 20 hit "I Kissed a Girl." The NY Times raves, "Jill Sobule can claim her place among the stellar New York singer-songwriters." The concert is sponsored by WFUV Radio and John Platt will host. Tickets go on sale March 2 for Friends of Landmark, and March 16 for the general public.
