Photo Flash: Emergent Arts Presents ARSENIC AND OLD LACE!

A glass of elderberry wine, a teaspoon of arsenic, a half teaspoon of strychnine and a pinch of cyanide, shake it with a family of madcap Brewsters, stir in a little romance, wait for Boris Karloff to show up, then call the cops! You might find time to say, "Hilarious!" before they cart you off to Happydale.
The Emergent Arts Company (2009's The Mousetrap at The Arthur Miller Theatre, and Waiting For Godot at Riverside Arts Center) presents the classic American comedy Arsenic and Old Lace on May 19 through 22 at the Arthur Miller Theatre in The Walgreen Drama Center, 1226 Murfin, on the North Campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Shows are 8 pm Thursday May 19 and Friday May 20, then at 2 pm and 8 pm on Saturday May 21, and at 2pm on Sunday May 22. Tickets are $20 General Admission, $16 Seniors and Students with ID. Discount tickets to the special Preview Night performance on Wednesday May 18 are $10 each. Available at www.emergentarts.com.
