The Broadway at Birdland will present Broadway star Lesli Margherita in the premiere of her brand new solo show, "BROAD," at the historic music room on Mondays, November 30 & December 7 at 7pm.

Mae West. Sophie Tucker. Lesli Margherita. Brassy. Ballsy. Bawdy....BROAD.

Olivier Award Winner Lesli Margherita (Dames at Sea, Matilda) returns to the New York cabaret stage in "BROAD," an evening celebrating the controversial women of yesteryear. Women who knew how to serve it up and dish it out. Women who took no prisoners and gave no apologies. With heart, humor, and more than a dash of seduction, Margherita takes center stage delivering racy and rare gems from the 20s, 30s and 40s that landed many of the women who sang them in hot water...just the way they liked it.

Written by Margherita, the evening will be directed by Lauren Bass, with musical arrangements by Brett Ryback and produced by Jordan & Lauren Bass.

An Olivier Award winner for her West End debut as Inez in Zorro the Musical, Lesli made her Broadway debut originating the role of Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda the Musical. She can currently be seen as Mona Kent in the Broadway premiere of Dames at Sea.

BROAD plays for two nights only, November 30 & December 7, 7pm at Birdland (315 W. 44th St.). Tickets start at $30 (plus $10 food/drink min). For more information or to purchase tickets visit leslimargherita.com or birdlandjazz.com.
