Broadway Composer Andrew Lippa and Venrock's Ray Rothrock Honored at TheatreWorks Gala Tonight

Theatre and technology worlds come together to commemorate Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award-winning Broadway composer Andrew Lippa (The Wild Party, The Addams Family, Big Fish) and Ray Rothrock, Partner Emeritus of pioneering venture capital firm Venrock, in the TheatreWorks Honors gala event tonight, June 21.

Staged by TheatreWorks, the nationally acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, this annual festivity honors outstanding innovators for their unwavering dedication to bringing forth vision and creativity to the Silicon Valley and national arts communities. Master of Ceremonies Tim Molak, Headmaster of Woodside Priory, will preside over the evening as attendees enjoy cocktails, a sumptuous dinner with wine pairings, live auction, and a one-night-only musical presentation created expressly for the honorees.

Organizing the event are honorary chairs John Thompson, Chairman of the Board of Microsoft, and Greg Becker, President of Silicon Valley Bank, with co-chairs Bill Coughran, Ciro Giammona, Mike Kwatinetz, and Holly Ward.

The event begins at 5:30pm, Saturday June 21, 2014 at the Palo Alto Hills Golf and Country Club, Palo Alto. A limited number of tables at levels $7,500 and above, and individual tickets at $1,000 are available.
