The best of Broadway was presented FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with "106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2014" - a lunchtime series on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 14th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances concluded on August 14. Co-presenters for this year's 106.7 LITE FM'S Broadway in Bryant Park were NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Visit Sarasota County.

This week's event featured performances from the cast of MATILDA, featuring: Paige Brady, Gabby Pizzolo, Ripley Sobo, Ava Ulloa and Marisa Kennedy, Jennifer Bowles, Heather Tepe, Sean Montgomery, Alex Brightman, Geoff Packard, JohnArthur Greene, Timothy Cao, Grace Capeless, Ava DeMary, Jonah Halperin, Alexa Shae Niziak, Sofia Roma Rubino,Analise Scarpaci, Mitchell Sink, Chris Sumpter, Beatrice Tulchin and TEd Wilson. MATILDA THE MUSICAL, produced by The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, opened in April 2013 at Broadway's Shubert Theatre (225 West 44thStreet) to rapturous reviews and has been celebrated on 10 "Top Ten" lists for 2013. The production received four Tony Awards and a Tony Honor for Excellence in the Theater for each of the four girls who shared the title role, two Outer Critics Circle Awards, five Drama Desk Awards including Best Musical, and the New York Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Musical.
