Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks is a poignant comedy filled with music and dance, that also addresses the issues of intolerance and ageism. What begins as an incompatible relationship blossoms into an intimate friendship as these two people from very different backgrounds reveal their secrets, fears, and joys while dancing the Swing, Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha, and Contemporary Dance. By the final lesson, Lily shares her most closely guarded secret and he shares his greatest gifts, his loyalty and compassion.

Seidelman is a two-time Emmy winner. Rowlands recently won the LA Film Critics Life-time Achievement Award - and will soon be honored with the same award from the Savannah Film Festival. Additionally, she has previously won two Golden Globes (A Woman Under the Influence and The Betty Ford Story), and has received two Academy Award nominations (A Woman Under the Influence and Gloria).
