A Fine Balance at Guloien Theatre at Crow's Theatre

A Fine Balance is a World Premiere stage adaptation of Rohinton Mistry's celebrated 1995 novel, adapted by Dora-winning playwright Anosh Irani and directed by Crow's Theatre Artistic Director Chris Abraham. Set during India's 1975 Emergency, the story follows four strangers divided by class, caste, and circumstance who become unlikely companions in a cramped Bombay apartment, finding refuge from surrounding political upheaval. The cast features Husein Madhavji, Anand Rajaram, Zorana Sadiq, Siddharth Sharma, Sugith Varughese, and Ben Yoganathan. The production is a Crow's Theatre commission developed through the Crow's Theatre Canadian Literature Adaptation Fund.
