Heated Rivalry: The Unauthorized Musical Parody is a comedic musical parody inspired by a landmark series, following golden boy Shane Hollander on his journey from power center to power bottom, featuring a bop-infused score and scene-stealing cameos. Written by Dylan MarcAurele, a Harvard music graduate and 2025 Jonathan Larson Grant winner, and directed and produced by Alan Kliffer, the show originated off-Broadway at New York City's The Culture Club. The Toronto concert presentation will feature a predominantly Canadian cast and runs for a limited engagement of three performances at Soulpepper's historic Distillery District venue.
