Center Theatre Group’s L.A. Writers’ Workshop Festival: New Plays Forged in L.A. moves to the Digital Stage this season with a virtually produced reading of “Christa McAuliffe’s Eyes Were Blue” written by Kemp Powers (2019-2020 L.A. Writers’ Workshop participant).

Tune in tonight at 7pm eastern for an hour of conversation and music with series host, soprano Allison Charney, cellist Peter Seidenberg and pianist Craig Ketter.

On Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 7pm ET, Russian-American violinist Yevgeny Kutik, will launch Finding Home: Music from the Suitcase in Concert, a five-episode docu-recital series filmed at the Shalin Liu Performance Center in Rockport, MA, based on Kutik’s 2014 album Music from the Suitcase (Marquis Classics).

Featuring seven incredible vocalists and Farmers Alley Favorites, this unique performance package is the perfect treat this February: it doesn’t need watering, always fits like a glove, and is more satisfying then anything in a heart-shaped box.

Hub Theatre Company of Boston will return to the virtual stage this winter with the world premier of Trent England’s Solitaire Suite, directed by local favorite Daniel Bourque.  The show will be performed live online on Saturday, Feb. 20, Friday, Feb. 26, and Saturday, Feb 27 at 7:30 pm and also on Sunday, Feb 21 at 4:00 pm.  

The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park will partner with community centers throughout the region to present THE SNOWY DAY AND OTHER STORIES BY EZRA JACK KEATS as part of the Playhouse’s virtual Off the Hill series.
