To the New Girl at Missouri University of Science and Technology

An ensemble of science and engineering students at the Missouri University of Science and Technology will present Samantha Macher’s ten-woman monologue play, To the New Girl, over two nights in December. Each monologue features women addressing their exes' new partners, exploring themes of heartbreak and resilience. The cast includes Emelaine Foster, Abigail LeBar, Mary Lucy, and Jamie Morley-Park, who reflect on the complexity of female experiences and mental health in a STEM-dominated environment. The production emphasizes collaboration, with actors directing one another, creating a unique blend of artistry and technical skill.
