Through storytelling and song, PICTURE INCOMPLETE sketches out the portrait of a man's life as he celebrates a rather unusual birthday on which an eviction notice arrives advising him to vacate his apartment. As he clears out his stuff, memories from his past, outrageously nosy neighbours and some poignant chance encounters on the street help him to discover who he truly is. By turns hilarious and moving, this solo theatre piece is award-winning contemporary musical theatre that delves into the human obsession with being perfect and unpacks the boxes we use to define ourselves. Directed by David Fick, the South African production of Trent Armand Kendall and Michael Polese's solo musical stars Schoeman Smit.
