In KLARA MAAS SE HART IS GEBREEK, ENSOMEER: DIE VLOEISTOF TRILOGIE, two commedia dell'arte-styled travelling players (Wessel Pretorius and David Viviers) sketch out three stories: the biography of a tear, a love triangle between a matador, a mantle and a bull and a legendary night of passion. The first of these three stories formed part of the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival's first Uikampteater project last year and was awarded the Kanna for best debut work. The two new stories complete this trilogy. The whole show is performed in Afrikaans.
