Heathers is currently playing to sold out crowds at New World Stages, the off-Broadway complex on 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. It’s a New York City return for the teen musical with a relatively short turn-around time since the original off-Broadway premiere of Heathers opened in 2014.

STAGES St. Louis has announced the full cast of their 2024 production of Disney’s NEWSIES, performing July 26- August 25 at The Ross Family Theatre at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. The show will be led by Daniel Marconi as Jack Kelly and Taylor Quick as Katherine. St. Louis’ Matthew Cox will be making his STAGES St. Louis Debut when he takes on the role of Crutchie.   Steve Bebout, immediately off of his St. Louis Theatre Circle win as Best Director of a Comedy for last year’s hit show CLUE, will return to STAGES to direct Disney’s NEWSIES. Bebout’s CLUE set box office records as the best-selling production in the history of STAGES St. Louis. Choreography will be created by STAGES newcomer, Lindsay Joy Lancaster. 

Meet Me Where I Am explores the intricacies of grief, dissecting its stages and offering profound insights into the dynamics of support during loss. The documentary presents a diverse array of perspectives, notably featuring acclaimed actor Anthony Rapp who provides an intimate glimpse into the real Jonathan Larson and the Tony Award-winning Broadway production RENT. Center Theatre Group (CTG) announced the North American premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s Old Friends, starring Bernadette Peters and Lea Salonga, and directed by Sir Matthew Bourne, playing at the Ahmanson Theatre from February 8—March 9, 2025.
