The real star of the show is its designed-to-travel, multi-level scenic design by 59 Productions, enhanced by sound designer Sebastian Front and lighting designer Matt Daw, which includes some of the most amazing projections I have ever witnessed that completely transform into the many scenes required, from the shipyard, inside homes, the local beer pub, to an extraordinary church interior that generated gasps from the audience, as well as the appearance of waves crashing on the docks and snow falling. But it is the final scene when the Utopia, the last ship to be built, launches from the soon-to-close shipyard that will take your breath away. It's just a shame it takes almost 3 hours to get to it.

Sting's The Last Ship Opened last night at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles. Those in attendance included Pierce Brosnan, Courteney Cox, Keala Settle, Melanie Griffith and more.

Production photos and footage have just been released of Sting's musical, THE LAST SHIP. The national tour of THE LAST SHIP is now playing in Los Angeles at Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre through February 16 followed by engagements at the Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, Washington D.C. at the National Theatre; St. Paul, MN at the Ordway and Detroit, MI at the Detroit Opera House.

The Canadian Premiere of Sting's acclaimed musical, THE LAST SHIP starring and featuring original music and lyrics by multiple Grammy Award® winner Sting is now on stage at the Princess of Wales Theatre through March 24, 2019.

Culture Project presents the 10th anniversary production of the hit, award-winning play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, presented in special association with The Innocence Project. Performances began September 15, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. for a limited seven-week engagement through Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street). BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO is a new American play by Rajiv Joseph Starring Robin Williams in his Broadway acting debut and directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Moisés Kaufman. The production opened last night, March 31, at the Richard Rogers Theatre and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the theater arrivals.

Yesterday, June 2, Sting opened his Symphonicity Tour in Vancouver, British Columbia. Sting will be touring with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, conducted by Steven Mercurio for 38 performances in the United States and Canada before starting his own European tour.
