In celebration of Facebook Friend's Day-BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL just released a mashup video of the classic hit 'You've Got a Friend' featuring  Carole King, and casts from the Broadway, Japan, Touring, London and Australian productions.

Today we celebrate the Broadway anniversary of the hit bio-musical, Beautiful: The Carole King Story, which opened on this day in 2014.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Kara Lindsay, who mostly recently starred as Glinda in Wicked on Broadway, will join the company of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, playing the role of Cynthia Weil from September 12 - December 31, 2017.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing have announced the National Tour of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical Beautiful- The Carole King Musical will welcome Sarah Bockel (Carole King), Andrew Brewer (Gerry Goffin), Sarah Goeke (Cynthia Weil) and Jacob Heimer (Barry Mann) beginning September 12 in Fort Worth, TX.

From the Great White Way to across the pond on the West End, the story of Carole King has continued to inspire audiences to find their true voice with the timeless music sung by talented leading ladies.

Just yesterday, the cast of the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful celebrated the show's 1500th performance on Broadway. Beautiful opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) on Sunday, January 12, 2014, where it's now in its fourth smash year, making it the longest running show in the history of the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Just yesterday, the cast of Broadway's Beautiful gathered for a pop-up performance of some of Carole King's most famous hits, at a piano designed by the cast to celebrate Carole King's story. Each of the records on the piano represent the 14 Carole King songs in the show with lyrics from the title song, "Beautiful," on the front of the piano. After the month of June, the piano will be donated to a school in need.

BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL opened strongly at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton. With glitzy production numbers, skilled performances from the cast and a lot of heart, BEAUTIFUL lives up to its name - it truly is beautiful.
