DreamWrights Center for Community Arts will be kicking off the public phase of its $2.5 million Capital Campaign with an exciting Community Event on June 30, 2016 from 6 - 9pm. This open house event features collaboration and celebration with talented community partners throughout the DreamWrights building. Food and refreshments will be available. In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 36 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2016 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its most ambitious project to date - this autumn the Rose stage will be transformed into a battlefield for The Wars of the Roses, a gripping adaptation of four of Shakespeare's history plays, directed by Trevor Nunn. The productions will play in rep from 16 September until 31 October, with press performances for all three plays on 3 October.
