Cape May Stage, South Jersey's premiere Equity theatre, is thrilled to launch another stellar season of their Second Stage Broadway Series with acclaimed star of stage and screen, Anthony Rapp in Anthony Rapp LIVE. On Monday, July 2nd at 8:00 p.m., Rapp brings his singular brand of cabaret to the Robert Shackleton Playhouse at the corner of Bank and Lafayette Streets in beautiful downtown Cape May.

SILHOUETTE STAGES has announced auditions and a call to artists and production team for its Oct/Nov production of RENT, with book, music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, directed by Susan G. Kramer and with musical direction to be announced. Auditions will take place Thursday, July 12, and Monday, July 16 from 7 to 10 p.m.

American Theater Company (ATC) has announced new performance dates for its production of Jonathan Larson's RENT, directed by David Cromer. The production is now extended through July 1, 2012 at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL. Brandon Victor Dixon had a feeling that one day he would join the ensemble of the iconoclastic musical RENT. He was only 15 years old when the play debuted in 1996, but Dixon, who plays Tom Collins, says RENT still evokes a special enthusiasm from young audiences.

The resurrection of the cult classic, written by Jonathan Larson, is being directed by Michael Greif, who directed the show's original off-Broadway and Broadway productions. The creative team includes choreographer Larry Keigwin, music supervisor Tim Weil, set designer Mark Wendland, costume designer Angela Wendt, lighting designer Kevin Adams, sound designer Brian Ronan, and projection designer by Peter Nigrini.
