American Theater Company Extends RENT thru July 1
American Theater Company (ATC) has announced new performance dates for its production of Jonathan Larson's RENT, directed by David Cromer. The production is now extended through July 1, 2012 at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL. East Village. 1990. American Theater Company teams up with About Face Theatre to create a fresh look at Jonathan Larson's 1996 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning rock opera. At the end of the 1980's, a group of Bohemian artists struggle to find life, love and art in a brutal economy and the height of the AIDS crisis. Director David Cromer will bring a staggering reality to this landmark musical.

RENT plays on the following schedule: Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays: 8:00pm, Saturdays: 3:00pm & 8:00pm and Sundays: 2:00pm. Preview tickets are $10 rush tickets at the door, or reserved seats for $40. For the regular run, Wed., Thurs. & matinees are $45 and Fri. & Sat. evenings are $50.
