The cast of the landmark musical Rent performed on CBS's "The Early Show" yesterday. Adam Chanler-Berat and Matt Shingledecker sang the show's title number, and were joined by the cast to perform Rent's signature song, "Seasons of Love." Check it out below!

Additionally, Rent took home the award for Top Off-Broadway Fundraiser (play or musical) at the 23rd Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition on December 6 at the New Amsterdam Theatre. After six weeks of fundraising and a special holiday concert (the 2011 Rent Holiday Christmas Pageant Extravaganza Spectacular), Rent raised over $43,000 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Cast member Margot Bingham and stage manager Stephen Ravet accepted the award from Hugh Jackman, Bernadette Peters, and Daniel Radcliffe.
