Beginning Tuesday, April 5, Jewelle Blackman will summon spring eight times a week as Persephone in Hadestown at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre.

Yesterday, Saturday, March 12th, the matinee and evening performances of Hadestown were cancelled. Hadestown has been struggling with company outages due to injuries, sickness, and Covid. Hadestown has cancelled their matinee performance for today, Saturday, March 12th at 2pm. According to a Tweet from New York Times theater reporter Michael Paulson, the afternoon performance has been struck by a combination of problems, including Covid and injuries.
