COME FROM AWAY in Melbourne will close a week early due to COVID-19. But good news is on the way for the show's Australian fanbase as producers have announced an encore season for February 2021

The Cast of Come From Away stopped by GMA3: Strahan Sara and Keke on Thursday, March 12 to perform 'Me and The Sky' in Times Square.

A Chinese touring production of the global success, Come From Away, has been postponed amid the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.

The worldwide smash hit and Tony and Olivier award-winning musical COME FROM AWAY will open at Sydney's State Theatre on Saturday 8 August 2020. 

American fans of the Tony-Award winning musical Come From Away have the opportunity to join Kevin Tuerff's 18th annual Pay it Forward 9/11 tradition through a guided tour of Newfoundland. The tour will occur September 6-12, in conjunction with the anniversary of the 9/11. Maxxim Vacations and Air Canada announced the tour today at the 2020 New York Times Travel Show (Jan 24-25 at Booth 642 in Canada section).

There is a day that is crystallized in the American consciousness as a day you will never forget, a day you can recall in perfect detail: September 11, 2001. On that day, so much of the bedrock of humanity felt like it was eroding into chaos as we all watched those planes strike the World Trade Center and reduce it to rubble, again and again. But COME FROM AWAY calls on us to remember something different about that day. It hearkens to the heart of what unites humanity rather than divides it. It is a look at the beauty of kindness being lived out in a small community on an island in Canada and how that kindness can overcome even the worst of days.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Rachel Tucker will return to Broadway this spring in Come From Away as Beverly Bass- a role she currently plays in the London production. Rachel will join the company on March 3, 2020.

In July 2009, in the backroom of a narrow shop, two young, first-time playwrights performed their first musical at the Toronto Fringe. The show had a quirky title that immediately got it attention. When the first audiences saw it, they knew they were witnessing something unique from writers who had a very promising future. The show became a Fringe sensation. Four months later, David Mirvish, the largest Canadian commercial theatre producer, presented a longer vision of the show at the 700-seat Panasonic Theatre (now the CAA Theatre), where it was extended five times. BroadwayWorld has just learned that original Come From Away cast member Pearl Sun will fill in as 'Janice & Others' in Broadway's Come From Away, January 7 through March 29. Sun takes over for Emily Walton, who departs the production to star in Darling Grenadine.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Emily Walton will make her Broadway debut in Come From Away as Janice & Others on Tuesday, November 12. Emily, who starred in the national tour, is the niece of Jim Walton, who currently plays Nick & others in the Broadway company.

It's just her and the sky! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, original Come From Away cast member Jenn Colella is set to play her final performance as Captain Beverly Bass on November 10, 2019.
