Go inside Come From Away: The Concert Steele Community Centre in Gander and September 19-21 at the Mary Brown's Centre in St. John's, which brought home the musical about the small Canadian town that temporarily doubled in population in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and tells the real-life stories of the people from there, and those who came from away. 

Come From Away is a story that everyone should see so it is wonderful that the Australian production has had the resilience to withstand the challenges of two COVID-19 induced shutdowns, first during its Melbourne season and most recently during Sydney’s 4-month lockdown.

The Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away returned to Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre last night, September 21, 2021.

In a world where it seems like lately, the only news is bad news, Come From Away is a critically important show that reminds us of how good the world and its people can be- especially in times of crisis.

On August 6th, Come From Away celebrated its 1000th performance on Broadway!

Come From Away, Irene Sankoff and David Hein's (Book, Music and Lyrics) multi award winning musical about the other side of the 9/11 story, has captivated Melbourne hearts in its beautiful heartwarming celebration of the best of the human spirit.

Last night at Broadway's Come From Away, American Airlines reunited the six American Airlines, TWA and US Airways crews who were diverted to Gander, Newfoundland on 9/11 and experienced the true stories brought to life in the musical, including Captain Beverley Bass (the first female Captain at American, who is depicted in the show), pilots and crews of these flights and AA's CEO & Chairman Doug Parker as well as the AA Vice Presidents of Flight Service and Flight.
