Acclaimed singer and actress Erin Leddy (Ghostlight the musical; Anything Goes; The Great Gatsby) and multiple award-winning performer of stage and screen Tim Realbuto (who recently won The Hollywood Moving Image Award for Best Leading Actor for the motion picture YES) will bring their new concert From Broadway With Love to The Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Cafe on West 42d Street, right in the heart of midtown. TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, recipient of the 2019 Tony Award for Regional Theatre, has announced the appointment of Tim Bond as its new Artistic Director. Bond will join the company officially in March 2020, stepping in as Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley winds down his 50th and final season at the helm of the theatre he created, ending one of the longest tenures in American theatre. Kelley previously announced his retirement at the conclusion of the company's current season in June 2020. Playwrights Horizons (Artistic Director Tim Sanford, Managing Director Leslie Marcus) is, from now through Thursday, November 14, accepting entries for the Live for Five online lottery, giving out $5 tickets to the first preview of Lucas Hnath's The Thin Place, directed by Les Waters. Since his 'mesmerizing drama' (The New York Times) The Christians made its New York premiere at Playwrights Horizons in 2015, Hnath has received acclaim for two major Broadway productions (A Doll's House, Part 2 and Hillary and Clinton).
