First Stage will present nine exciting, entertaining and inspiring productions in two different performance spaces for its 2023/24 season.

The Muny announced that Bryonha Marie, Mamie Parris, James T. Lane, Alan H. Green, Thom Sesma, Meredith Aleigha Wells, Madeleine Doherty, Katy Geraghty, Brandon Espinoza, F. Michael Haynie and Darron Hayes will star in the divine musical comedy Sister Act, August 14 - 20, 2023.

Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. For the final show of its acclaimed 2022-2023 PNC Bank season, City Springs Theatre Company (CSTC) will bring Tony Award-recipient Baayork Lee back to Atlanta to helm the renowned Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, CATS. Ms. Lee directs and choreographs the production, running May 5-21, 2023, in the Byers Theatre at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center.

The Muny has announced that Ashley Blanchet, Ben Crawford, Claybourne Elder, Ann Harada, Kelvin Moon Loh, Eric Jordan Young, Holly Ann Butler, Tommy Bracco, Harrison White, Debby Lennon and Michael Hobin will star in the magical production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, June 22 - 30, 2023.

New casting has been announced for the West End transfer of the critically acclaimed and Olivier Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma!. Joining the company are David King-Yombo as Mike, Paige Peddie as Ado Annie, and Sally Ann Triplett as Aunt Eller.

Trinity Repertory Company concludes its 2022-23 Season with the award-winning musical Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler. Directed by Curt Columbus, Sweeney Todd runs at Trinity Rep in the Dowling Theater from May 25 through June 25, 2023.

Love + Science, a new play by scientist and writer David J. Glass, announced the cast and creative team for its premiere at New York City Center Stage II.

Due to popular demand, ELF the smash hit musical returns to London's Dominion Theatre for a second consecutive year to play a strictly limited season from 15 November 2023 until 6 January 2024. After a seven-year absence from the West End, ELF's 2022 sold-out run at the Dominion was further proof of the production's public and critical success.

Casting has been announced for the Berkshires premiere of Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig's Dear Jack, Dear Louise at Shakespeare & Company.

The national tour of JAGGED LITTLE PILL, the musical based on Alanis Morisette’s album of the same name, is due to arrive in Schenectady on May 2. The show follows the Healy family as they deal with some heavy life issues. Making his touring debut, Dillon Klena is playing the role of Nick Healy (a role his brother Derek originated on Broadway).

Signature Theatre announces the cast and creative team of its world premiere production of MacArthur Fellow Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' The Comeuppance, directed by Eric Ting. Concluding Jacobs-Jenkins' Premiere Residency—and Signature's 2022-2023 season of personal and profound works from its Resident writers—The Comeuppance runs May 16–June 25.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present Broadway’s Farah Alvin, celebrating the release of her highly anticipated album On Vinyl, on Friday, May 19 at 7:00 PM.
