Following two sold-out seasons at the London Coliseum, the internationally acclaimed St Petersburg Ballet Theatre is set to perform at Bord Gáis Energy Theatre this autumn, with their full-length classic production of Swan Lake. The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team as comic playwright Ken Ludwig, who delighted Globe audiences with Robin Hood! and Baskerville, returns with a hilarious world premiere: Ken Ludwig's The Gods of Comedy, directed by Amanda Dehnert (West Side Story at Carnegie Hall, world premieres of Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice and Ludwig's Baskerville). Presented in association with McCarter Theatre Center, The Gods of Comedy will run May 11 - June 16, 2019 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, Old Globe Theatre, Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, opening on May 16. Step Afrika! the first professional dance company in the world dedicated to the tradition of stepping is coming to Stowe, Wednesday, February 6 at 7pm. Step Afrika! draws on percussive dance styles that grew out of African American communities, African traditional dance, and influences from a variety of other dance and art forms. The company incorporates movement, words, and sounds to communicate allegiance, with a special focus on teamwork and cross-cultural understanding. Though rooted in raw movement, Step Afrika's award-winning performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation in a blend of technique and agility that's guaranteed to drop more than a few jaws.

On Wednesday 31 October 2018, Australian theatre royalty, Tony Sheldon will celebrate his 2000 show milestone in Priscilla Queen of the Desert as sassy desert queen, Bernadette.

The 24th season of the Adirondack Theatre Festival will feature the nostalgia-filled dramatic comedy The Jedi Handbook. The show will open at the Charles R. Wood Theater, located at 207 Glen Street in downtown Glens Falls, and run from July 21st-27th, with a preview on July 20th. The innovative educational program that debuted at HAMILTON on Broadway will continue in St. Louis on Wednesday, April 11 when 3,900 students and teachers from 42 high schools attend the matinee performance of the musical at the Fabulous Fox Theatre.
