Tomorrow, April 25th, will mark the 32nd anniversary of the passing of vocal arranger, musical director, pianist, and musical genius James Raitt. He was only 41years old when AIDS took him from us far too soon. While James’ career was cut short, what he left us will always be a reminder of his many talents.

Cape Rep Theatre has announced its 2026 season, featuring plays and musicals including a world premiere and a Cape Cod premiere. The season will take place in Brewster, Massachusetts and includes both indoor and outdoor programming.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced complete casting for the epic closing of the 2024 – 2025 Season, Jesus Christ Superstar, which begins previews on May 14, 2025. Step Afrika! the first professional dance company in the world dedicated to the tradition of stepping is coming to Stowe, Wednesday, February 6 at 7pm. Step Afrika! draws on percussive dance styles that grew out of African American communities, African traditional dance, and influences from a variety of other dance and art forms. The company incorporates movement, words, and sounds to communicate allegiance, with a special focus on teamwork and cross-cultural understanding. Though rooted in raw movement, Step Afrika's award-winning performances are much more than dance shows; they integrate songs, storytelling, humor, and audience participation in a blend of technique and agility that's guaranteed to drop more than a few jaws.
