The full season will feature B.R.O.K.E.N code B.I.R.D switching, a world premiere play and an award recipient of the GRANTS FOR ARTS PROJECTS from the National Endowment for the Arts; Once, a Tony Award-winning musical; Songs For a New World, the first musical by a Tony Award winner; Dracula, a classic gothic tale of horrors; and Edward Albee's Seascape, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play. 

Beloved psychologist Dr. Ruth Westheimer celebrates her 94th birthday this June, and in celebration, six-time Tony- and Emmy-nominated actor Tovah Feldshuh and the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust will present a special virtual broadcast of the one-woman Off-Broadway show, Becoming Dr. Ruth.

Fires in the Mirror is Anna Deavere Smith's now-classic theatre piece about the Crown Heights, Brooklyn disturbances of 1991, the singular point of which is that it's impossible to know exactly what to think about those events either.

Just For Us weaves together entertaining anecdotes from Alex Edelman's own life, with a poignant and shocking story at its center: After receiving an onslaught of anti-Semitic comments online, Edelman attended a gathering of White Nationalists in New York City, coming face to face with members of the alt-right. 

Playhouse on Park's 13th Main Stage Season will open with Seth Rozin's TWO JEWS WALK INTO A WAR… Directed by David Hammond. The production will run from September 22 - October 10, 2021. The New York Times calls it “a clear call to carry on, no matter how difficult the times,” making it a timely production indeed. 

Tickets, which are free, will be available to book for pre-registered audiences on Friday 20th August, with general on-sale on Friday 27th August. Casting information to be confirmed. Learn more about the production here!

Flat Rock Playhouse is bringing back the mainstage in an iconic way! Television veterans, Ed Asner of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Jamie Farr of M*A*S*H will star in the staged reading of Two Jews, Talking at Flat Rock Playhouse.

I have the delightful pleasure of talking to Ed, not only on ANOTHER GIN GAME, but on highlights of his incredibly long-lasting acting career. When I tried to thank him for all the previous times he’s graciously posed for my camera and chatted with me at various charity events, he playfully deflected with, “But I’m a son of a bitch now!”
