Town Hall Theater is excited to screen the excellent production of the National Theatre's All About Eve on the big screen Sunday, June 23 at 2pm. Directed by Ivo Van Hove and starring Gillian Anderson and Lily James, this new stage adaptation of All About Eve is based on the classic award-winning film.

The Empower Her Project CEO and Founders Raquel Wilson and Tynisha Lewis announced today that the 2nd Annual Women of Color Empowerment Brunch (WCEB) will be held Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm at Jordan Downs Community Center, 1501 E. 103rd Street in Los Angeles, California. The Las Vegas Philharmonic and Music Director Donato Cabrera announced the 2019 2020 concert season today, which will include 11 performances from September 7, 2019 through May 9, 2020 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, top comedians and celebrity guests will join sports superstars John and Patrick McEnroe and Andy Cohen at the third annual You Cannot Be Serious! evening of comedy at Carolines on Broadway from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Proceeds will benefit the Johnny Mac Tennis Project, a transformative youth tennis initiative founded by McEnroe.

SOOP Theatre Company, a mainstay in Westchester's theatrical arts community, has leased a new, 2500 square foot studio space at 530 Fifth Avenue. 530 Studios, located just minutes from the Pelham train station, features a large rehearsal room and four smaller studios for private voice, piano and one-on-one teacher / student instruction, and will host rehearsals, classes, and workshops for kids of all ages throughout lower Westchester County.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-M st announced details of their 2019-2020 season which encompasses 76 concerts over 26 weeks. One significant highlight includes a festival designed to explore music and art that was banned, marginalized, and destroyed during the Nazi's Degenerate Art movement, and the continuing impact of censorship on creative expression in society today. The festival will center on Alban Berg's Lulu, one of the 20th century's most influential operas, and includes partner programming with the area's notable arts institutions.
