Mister Goblin, the long-running project of former Two Inch Astronaut frontman Sam Goblin, has released his fourth album, Frog Poems. Frog Poems was preceded by singles that each displayed a different aspect of Mister Goblin’s cutting edge sound. Mister Goblin, the long-running project of former Two Inch Astronaut frontman Sam Goblin, shares the final single from his forthcoming fourth album, Frog Poems. The new single, entitled “Run, Hide, Fight,” is rife with knotted guitar and portentous songwriting. Will Berger is a renaissance man on a mission.  When he's not lecturing on classical music and opera, or writing the commentaries for the Metropolitan Opera Radio on Sirius, or co-hosting the live Metropolitan Opera radio broadcasts, or producing (and writing) the broadcasts' Met Opera Quiz, or writing books (Wagner Without Fear (1998), Verdi With a Vengeance (2000), Puccini Without Excuses (2005), all published by Random House) he's writing the libretto for a new Jazz Metal Opera!  

Matthew Bourne’s Romeo + Juliet will have its North American Premiere at the Ahmanson January 31, 2024 (with previews starting January 28th). Matthew directs and choreographs his cast of 27 New Adventures dancers. Matthew managed to answer a few of my queries on the phone amidst the background of police sirens blaring.
