The Den Theatre has announced upcoming May 2025 shows at the theatre’s Wicker Park stages including Juno Birch: The Probed Tour on May 1; Fern Brady: I Gave You Milk To Drink on May 3; Guy Branum: Be Fruitful on May 6; Kurt Braunohler on May 8; Daphnique Springs on May 9; And Then We… Podcast on May 11; Love Isn’t Blind on May 15; Paula Poundstone on May 17; Orny Adams on May 24; Caroline Baniewicz on May 29; and Tim Meadows on May 30 - 31.

With fifteen years experience as a Michael Jackson impersonator and spending two hours in the make-up chair every night getting ready, you can’t fault CJ (Craig Harrison) for commitment.

Nick Hyde’s tragicomic Double Act uses clowning and comedy to tell the story of a young man (played by Hyde and Oliver Maynard in white face paint) who wakes up and sets off to kill himself somewhere on the South Coast. He has a few things, though, to tick off his list before he throws himself off a cliff.

Asolo Repertory Theatre has announced complete casting for the Olivier and Tony Award-winning memory play Dancing at Lughnasa, which begins previews on March 19, 2025.

The Huntington has announced the cast and creative team of The Triumph of Love, the classic romantic comedy written by Pierre Carlet de Marivaux, translated by Stephen Wadsworth, and directed by Huntington Artistic Director Loretta Greco (Prayer for the French Republic at The Huntington).

Some of the shows that the Orpheum has been best known for are Stomp, which ran there for an astounding 29 years, from 1994 to 2023, and the original production of Little Shop of Horrors which spent over five years at the theater from 1982 to 1987. 

Mirvish has announced its 2025/26 Main Subscription Season, which is made up of seven productions, all musicals.   Four are Canadian premieres, two are Toronto premieres and one is a brand-new sit-down Canadian production of an international hit.
