San Francisco Opera presents Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata conducted by Caroline H. Hume Music Director Eun Sun Kim in a new staging by director Shawna Lucey. This new vision of a beloved classic, the first new production of La Traviata to be built by the Company in 35 years, will open on November 11 simultaneously at the War Memorial Opera House and on the videoboard at Oracle Park in a free Opera at the Ballpark simulcast.

NBCUniversal TV and Streaming has entered into an overall talent and development agreement with Daytime Emmy Award-winning host and vocalist Adrienne Bailon-Houghton. The pact encompasses unscripted opportunities across NBCU platforms to serve as a host and/or producer across the company’s broadcast, cable, streaming and syndication programming.

TAK celebrates its 10th anniversary in the 2022-2023 season. Marking a decade of cultivating creative programming at the highest level, TAK's season features the world premiere of a New York Philharmonic co-commission by Tyshawn Sorey for the Kravis Nightcap series; premiere live performances of Ashkan Behzadi's Love, Crystal, and Stone and Taylor Brook's Star Maker Fragments from recent TAK albums; and commissions from Michelle Lou and DM R with Joy Guidry to be premiered at TAK's 10th anniversary celebration in May 2023.

Queer|Art, New York City's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ+ artists, has announced the winner of the 2021 Barbara Hammer Lesbian Experimental Filmmaking Grant, collaborative duo, Desireena Almoradie and Barbara Malaran. The New York City-based duo will receive a $7,000 cash grant, as well as studio visits with members of the judges panel in support of their creative and professional development.
