.Almost Famous is set to begin preview performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre tonight, October 3, 2022 with opening night on November 3, 2022.

 Following a hugely successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022, the award-winning actor, writer and comedian Elf Lyons is taking her terrifying and darkly funny Stephen King-inspired comedy show on tour this Autumn 2022. Beginning in Bristol on 1st October, before heading across the UK, culminating with nine nights at London’s Soho Theatre, just in time to spice up this year’s Halloween.

Launching Griffin’s 33rd season, Marys Seacole will play October 1 – November 6, 2022 on Raven Theatre’s Schwartz Stage.

TAK celebrates its 10th anniversary in the 2022-2023 season. Marking a decade of cultivating creative programming at the highest level, TAK's season features the world premiere of a New York Philharmonic co-commission by Tyshawn Sorey for the Kravis Nightcap series; premiere live performances of Ashkan Behzadi's Love, Crystal, and Stone and Taylor Brook's Star Maker Fragments from recent TAK albums; and commissions from Michelle Lou and DM R with Joy Guidry to be premiered at TAK's 10th anniversary celebration in May 2023.

Apollo Chamber Players had released its sixth album, MoonStrike, on Azica Records. MoonStrike is a universal celebration of storytelling, space, and folk song, realized through new works by Jennifer Higdon, Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate, and Pierre Jalbert.

San Francisco Opera presents the world premiere of John Adams' Antony and Cleopatra on Saturday, September 10, with performances through October 5.

Queer|Art, New York City's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ+ artists, has announced the winner of the 2021 Barbara Hammer Lesbian Experimental Filmmaking Grant, collaborative duo, Desireena Almoradie and Barbara Malaran. The New York City-based duo will receive a $7,000 cash grant, as well as studio visits with members of the judges panel in support of their creative and professional development.
