In partnership with the Jean Paul Riopelle Foundation as part of the celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of the artist’s birth in 2023, GSI Musique and Oziko are proud to announce the release of the album Riopelle symphonique, which has been available for pre-order since March 2022.

Liquid Theatre Collective and Randy Donaldson, Executive Producer, will present two additional private, invitation only readings of MARIAN, an original musical based on the life of world-renowned contralto, Marian Anderson.

A Sherlock Carol, a holiday production by Mark Shanahan, returns to New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) for a six-week limited holiday engagement. Previews begin Monday, November 21, 2022, with opening night on Monday, November 28, 2022, and the final performance on Sunday, January 1, 2023. 

The Cincinnati May Festival has announced complete details for  its 150th anniversary in 2023, including programs and featured soloists for performances in April and  May 2023 and local artist and ensemble participants for its 25 for 25: A New Time for Choral Music commissioning project. 

Soho Rep has announced a one-week extension, to November 20, of its nearly-sold-out world premiere production of Montag, written by Kate Tarker (THUNDERBODIES at Soho Rep; Dionysus Was Such a Nice Man) and directed by Dustin Wills (Wolf Play, presented by Soho Rep & Ma-Yi Theater Company; Frontières Sans Frontières).

Veteran actor Eugene Lee will join Norm Lewis to star in the 20-week North American tour of Roundabout's 2020 Tony Award-winning Best Revival of the 1982 Pulitzer Prize-winning A Soldier's Play.

A Sherlock Carol, written and directed by Mark Shanahan, will return this holiday season at New World Stages for a six-week limited engagement. Broadway favorite Drew McVety (Billy Elliot, Spamalot) returns as the titular sleuth, with Allen Gilmore (The School for Scandal, Yale Rep’s Choir Boy) joining the company as Scrooge.

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for The Sound of Music, directed by Mark S. Hoebee. The production will feature Ashley Blanchet (Paper Mill’s Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Broadway’s Waitress) as Maria Rainer, and Graham Rowat (Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen, Sunset Boulevard) as Captain Georg von Trapp.

Katy Lipson for Aria Entertainment has announced the casting for the world premiere of Claus The Musical which will run at The Lowry from 14 December 2022 – 8 January. The cast includes Georgie Buckland who will play Necile, Junior Delius (AK), Chris Draper (Will Knook), Jazz Evans (Awgwa), and more.

Grammy Award-winning choir The Crossing gives the world premiere performance of Michael Gordon's Travel Guide to Nicaragua at Congregation Rodeph Shalom in Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7:00pm and the NYC premiere performance at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 7:30pm. Avante-garde cellist Maya Beiser joins The Crossing for the long-awaited premieres, which were postponed due to the pandemic.
