LA Opera will present the world premiere of In Our Daughter's Eyes, by composer Du Yun and librettist Michael Joseph McQuilken, from April 13 through 17, 2022, at REDCAT. The monodrama was created for and with baritone Nathan Gunn, who portrays a father-to-be striving to become a man his daughter would be proud of.

Royal & Derngate will produce the World Premiere of The Wellspring as part of its Made in Northampton 2021/22 season. A deeply autobiographical work from award-winning playwright Barney Norris (The Remains of the Day) and his father, internationally acclaimed pianist and broadcaster David Owen Norris, The Wellspring examines that age-old story of a boy and his dad, and how they can relate to one another, in every sense of the word.

Regan De Wynter Williams Productions has announced Sasha Regan's All-Male H.M.S. Pinafore crew. Gilbert & Sullivan's much-loved operetta will run at Wilton's Music Hall from 16th March - 9th April before sailing to the Theatre Royal Winchester from 21st April - 27th April.

Bradley Cooper has confirmed that his upcoming Leonard Bernstein biopic, Maestro, is set to begin filming in May. Cooper will direct and star in the upcoming film, also featuring Carey Mulligan as Felicia Montealegre, Bernstein's wife. Bernstein has conducted works such as West Side Story, Peter Pan, Candide, Wonderful Town, On the Town, and more.
